WOW air adds Dallas, Texas to its list of US destinations

Beginning May 23 2018 Dallas residents can fly direct to Iceland when WOW air will be introducing its latest route. WOW will fly three times each week between Dallas/Fort Worth in Texas and Keflavík, Iceland. 

Fifth new US destination in less than a month
The flights will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with a Keflavík departure at 21:30. WOW will be using one of tis new Airbus A330 narrow body jets for the route. Skúli Mogensen, the CEO and founder of WOW air, said in a statement that the new route was part of the expansion of WOW, which has been busy adding routes in recent months.

This August WOW announced the addition of four new destinations in the Midwestern states of the US.

Skúli said he was certain Icelanders would welcome the Dallas flights:

"It's fabulous to be able to offer more people the opportunity to fly cheaply across the Atlantic, and I know Dallas will be a welcome destination to Icelanders, as the Ewing family was a frequent guest at Icelandic homes back in the 80s."

The US TV show Dallas which aired from 1978 until 1991 was one of the most popular TV shows in Iceland during the 1980s.
