Christopher Nolan's Interstellar hasn’t landed yet, but a new 2.33-minute long trailer has. The trailer features a short clip shot at Vatnajökull glacier, Southeast Iceland, last autumn.

Interstellar is a science fiction film starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Michael Cain. The film features a team of space travelers who embark on a voyage through a wormhole to another galaxy in an attempt to save the human race.

Nolan gained much attention and popularity for the films Inception and the Dark Knight Rises Trilogy. This is the second time he has filmed in Iceland. The first time was for Batman Begins (2005), where Vatnajökull glacier also played a prominent role.
