Iceland is world's second most democratic country, study finds
The fourth season of the television series “Game of Thrones” premiered on Sunday, April 6th. The series was partially filmed in locations such as Þingvellir National Park, Lake Mývatn in north Iceland and near Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir hot spring. Þingvellir was featured in the season's very first episode.
Scenes for Season 3 were filmed during the winter in Iceland in 2011, but last year the cast and crew of “Game of Thrones” returned in July to film Season 4 and got to experience the country in full bloom.
