The neglected old lumpfish baiting huts located on the seashore at Ægisíða, Reykjavík, might soon be restored to their former glory, reports Morgunblaðið newspaper.

The Reykjavík City Council agrees that the ruins need to be preserved but the project has yet to be funded.

The huts at Ægisíðar are located in Reykjavík’s west side. A walking and cycling path runs along the seashore and makes for a gorgeous stroll.
