The Laugardalur camp site, located in Laugardalur valley, is a great option for those who are looking for cheap accommodation in central Reykjavík. The camp site is situated next to the fabulous Laugardalur swimming pool and recreational area, a scenic 20-minute walk from downtown Reykjavík, and can accommodate up to 650 people in tents, cabins or caravans.

The eco-friendly site is open from 1st May to 30th September and its grounds feature parking, electricity for cars and camper vans, showers, washing machines, internet, cooking facilities, and around the clock supervision. The Laugardalur Petting Zoo and Family Park is located a stone’s throw away, making it the ideal base for families with children.

The camp site was awarded the Earth Check Assessed recognition, confirming that it follows sustainable business practices.
